- Abstract
- In this paper we study a problem of 3D reconstruction of objects from a set of microscopic images. 3D models obtained by existing methods can have numerous errors in presence of highlights and for poorly textured regions of the object surface. We propose a novel method for 3D reconstruction of objects from a set of microscopic images that is based Markov Random Fields (MRF) theory. Presented experimental results demonstrate high accuracy and robustness of the proposed method.
