- Abstract
- Constantly increasing requirements in security area, for both nuclear-power engineering and other sectors, and increasing processing and constructive complexity of products, requires comprehensive computer simulation, based on complex rated codes and particularized rated models, including finite-element and finite-volumetric methods. Sizes of formed grid rated models have almost reached a level of 1 billion cells. In nuclear-power engineering area an authentic example of model, requiring a detailed analysis, may be an active zone model or a reactor model in whole. At the same time, a file size in this rated model can reach several hundred GB. Then, a vast amount of issues and challenges like construction, storage, transmitting and computation of these kind of models, and visualization of computation has appeared. Because, mere rotating of such a heavy model can lead to temporary delays during re-formation of a video frame, which will not allow to perform analysis of the results. The focus of the article was the description of an implemented distributed visualization scheme with using System Shell - the design data control system and processes of settlement studies, developed under the "Proryv" Project and ScientificView postprocessor integrated into its structure. Works, based on ScientificView postprocessor are described, and the test results of implemented distributed visualization scheme when processing the super large volume grid model (1 billion cells) are reported.
