- Abstract
- The magnetic trap for plasma confinement with an inverted field or the inverted magnetic configuration (FRC) is one of the most perspective systems with high β, alternative in relation to the tokamak. Offered is the brief review according to all available information on the FRC and to possible directions of use of such configurations besides reception of energy in thermonuclear reactors (TNR).
