- Abstract
- The present article is dedicated to analysis patent and research literature of the polymer composites, its properties and structure. The different types of nano-fillers and properties of nanocomposites were considered. Here we report the main problems of fabricating such materials. It is a homogeneous dispersion of the nano-fillers in the polymer matrix and an efficient load transfer from the polymer matrix to the nano-fillers. Also, the main methods of the homogeneous dispersion of nano-fillers in the polymer matrix are described: optimum blending, "in-situ" polymerization, chemical functionalization of nano-fillers.
