- Abstract
- Using of Earth space photographs (from satellites QuickBird and Ikonos) for estimation of the ecological conditions of the key area in National park "Losiyniy ostrov" are shown In the article. The key area is represented here as research object. The space photographs are compared with aero photographs. The selected area can pretend to be as a key since it is typical area in respect of significant influence of the town infrastructure and recreation. The main result of the study is the conclusion about possibility of using space photographs with high permission for determination of the conditions of wood and bush vegetation by appreciable characteristics and such important factors, as woodiness, projective covering and etc.
