- Abstract
- Reversibility of equations is the necessary but not sufficient condition of reversible evolution. Irreversibility is the consequence of noncommutativity. Requirements to discrete symmetries lead to the composition of alternative noncommutative propagators containing irreversibility. Coexistence of reversible and irreversible processes in isolated systems with interactions described by only reversible equations is possible. Geometric interpretation and the functional describing a measure of irreversibility are found.
