- Abstract
- In work the numerical modeling of processes mass transfer is carried out on the basis of the created theory of baromembrane separation of binary gas mixtures in the presence of external and intramembrane diffusion resistances and also membrane selectivity. The practical recommendations for process optimization of hydrogen extraction from synthesis-gas for flowing membrane flat-frame and hollow-fibrous elements with laminar flow are made. It has been established that excess length of the membrane decreases hydrogen recovery and permeate pollution. Advantages of the use of hollow fibers as membrane elements are proved, that contributes to the creation of compact and high-yield apparatuses for hydrogen extraction from hydrogenous mixtures.
