- Abstract
- Radioactivity distribution at the sulfuric acid processing of a sfenovy concentrate with the raised content of natural radionuclides is studied. It is shown that radium and thorium form almost insoluble sulfates and together with uranium, which sedimentated with calcium, pass to the calcium-silicate depositt. 88 % of total radioactivity concentrate in this product. It is established that effective specific activity of titanic salt (~38-40 % of TiO2), received at the sulfuric acid processing of a sfenovy concentrate of the Hibinsky field conforms to standard requirements for 1 class of materials on radioactivity and can be used on this factor in production of construction materials and technical products without restrictions. Technological products refer to not radioactive materials, work with them is radiation safety.
