- Abstract
- The paper incorporate fuzzy logic, genetic algorithms and greedy algorithm into the classifying system based on fuzzy if-then rules to extract from network traffic data for classification. Genetic algorithms optimize the fuzzy classifier based on if-then rules. The experiments and evaluations of the proposed method were performed with the KDD-Cup-99 and NSL-KDD intrusion detection datasets.
