- Abstract
- Big Data processing issues are actual nowadays. The article presents the results of research concerning choice of the methodology and the software and hardware platform for building data warehouse. Data Warehouse was designed for one of the biggest internet companies of Russia. The article explains why the Anchor Modeling methodology and HP Vertica DBMS were selected as the optimum combination for building Big Data storage. Combination of Vertica DBMS and Anchor Modeling methodology was successfully applied, and a data warehouse for Big Data analysis was successfully designed, implemented and launched.
