- Abstract
- Forming conditions and chemical composition of solid waste from oil-refinery enterprise are investigated. Regularities of thermal desorption and thermal destruction of certain types of waste and their mixtures are studied. Fractional composition analysis of refined product part of oil-contaminated waste and thermoanalysis samples of activated sludge generated at the biological wastewater treatment permitted to establish the temperature regime of thermal desorption processes and waste destruction. Chemical composition of thermal destruction residues is determined, and processes of its briquetting under pressure in the presence of Portland cement PC 400 and liquid glass are investigated. The assessment of the strength and toxicological properties of briquetted residues is carried out.
