- Abstract
- There is proposed a method for providing the required high-level security in the case of using secret keys having small size, for example 40 or 56 bits. The method is based on combining the shared-key encryption with the keyless encryption. The proposed protocol represents interest for practical application in the case when restricted key material is available.
