- Quite usual problems that design departments come across while caring out computational studies are the computer modelling data storage and management and the processes organization in large scale and complex projects that demand collaborative work of several departments'. One of the solutions to such problems is the use of the computational processes and data management computer information systems. This article is devoted to the computer software of this category - "System Shell". This computer software complex is currently under development as a part of "Proryv" project for the needs of the nuclear industry and takes into account standards and needs of computational studies organization in a nuclear field. This article gives justification of considered computer software complex implementation approach; a functional scheme as well as description and interaction of its major subsystems are presented. The first results are presented and the key benefits ensuring the System Shell use as a computational data and processes management software system are described.
