- Abstract
- The authors have carried out the research into the mechanism of the molybdenum ion desorption on (from) the surface of aluminium oxide in the presence of the phosphorus ions. The equilibrium constants of reaction between the molybdenum and the surface of the aluminium oxide were calculated with the help of the electrical double layer model. There was found the desorption of the molybdenum ions from the surface of the aluminium oxide in the presence of the phosphorus ions due to the changes of double layer charging value. The results of the research are to be used for the extraction of the molybdenum from metallic minerals (ore), the molybdenum containing industrial waste and sewage.
