- Abstract
- In recent years in Russia more is paid to the problems of production waste management as an important component of ecology economic management of the national economy aimed at sustainable and effictive development of the country as a whole and its individual regions, Vologda being one of them. The analysis of the main amount of waste on the territory of the Vologda region during the period from 2011 till 2013 has been made. In 2013 the contribution of metallurgical production to the waste formation amounted to 51 %, chemical production - 27 %. Comparative analysis has shown that on the territory of the Vologda region 65.3 % of waste was neutralized and used, while in Archangelsk region only 11.7 % of waste products were neutralized and used. It is shown that the greatest amount of waste in the region is used at the Joint-Stock Company "Severstal".
