- Two methods of designing peripherals based soft processor Nios II, implemented in the form of a "system on a chip", an example of designing a specialized controller interface Aeronautical Radio channel (ARINC). With the help of functional simulation tools Modelsim identified the advantages and disadvantages of each method, quantitative estimates hardware costs, power consumption and performance to design the system.
