- Abstract
- Modelling and automation business processes especially in the quaternary sector of the economy is still a challenge because of their specific characteristics. In this paper we provide an analysis of the status and trends in the field of business process management and information systems support, highlight the main characteristics of the knowledge intensive processes, provide the analysis of the use of semantic methods to the problem of modeling and automating business processes. We model business processes by enriching models semantically for its future automation and creating a context-oriented system for knowledge intensive business process management.
