- Abstract
- The article discusses the problem of the modern enterprise efficiency increase and costs rationalization. The Lean manufacturing methodology as an effective method of manufacturing company management is suggested. Special attention is paid to the 5S system - approach for highly productive working environment creation. Key benefits of 5S technology as a means to reduce costs and improve the security of the working environment are shown. Detailed description of the five components forming the system of 5S is given. Relevance of the article is due to the fact that in conditions of highly competitive fight enterprises have to continuously improve the quality of processes, produced products, the productivity of the working personnel, as well as reduce costs. Material of the article is aimed at managers of industrial enterprises and service sector organizations. In addition, the material will be useful for production managers and quality managers. Requirements for today's enterprises in order to increase competitiveness in an aggressive environment are described.
