- Abstract
- The finite-element method taking into account the heat of phase transition carried out the analysis of dynamics of the temperature field in the welding of the saddle branch to the polyethylene gas pipeline at ambient temperatures below standard. Using methods of visualization of data, the possibility of management of thermal process by preliminary heating and thermal insulation when welding of the saddle branch to a pipe at low temperatures is shown and obtaining dynamics of the temperature field at which high-quality welded connection is formed.
