- Abstract
- For the first time with ash material from the combustion of oil shale obtained ceramic wall materials and composition for producing water-resistant porous aggregate on the basis of liquid glass, which is confirmed by two patents of the Russian Federation. Currently, the efficiency of all industries should be assessed from the point of view of the balance between the weight of the main product and the volume of generated industrial waste. Most disadvantaged in this regard, are the companies of fuel and energy complex, namely thermal power plants (TPP), which are sources of massive atmospheric emissions, and solid waste tonnage and ore-dressing enterprises. It is shown that at present the current system of environmental regulation in Russia is divorced from the real context in which to exist. One of the most promising areas for the use of waste production is ─ involving them recycled as secondary material or energy resources. Due to the involvement of industrial waste in the production of wall materials and water-resistant porous aggregates may radically change the parameters of the raw material base of Russia, which also contributes to reducing environmental impact in the regions. Use of ash and slag materials from combustion of oil shale in the production of building materials contributes to: recycling of industrial waste; the protection of the environment; expansion of raw materials base for production of ceramic building materials.
