- Abstract
- In modern industry, including the polymer materials industry, the task of accounting, minimizing and at best preventing the impact of harmful factors on the environment becomes more urgent. This problem is especially acute in the plastics industry, because along with environmentally inert substances, some polymeric materials also contain highly toxic substances that can diffuse into the environment under certain conditions. The problems of ecological safety of the most widely used linear polymeric materials are considered in the article. A comparative analysis of the negative impact on the environment was made on the basis of the calculation of the environmental safety index of the material. The assessment is of an integral nature and takes into account the raw materials, the chemical technology of polymer production and the production of granules.
