- Abstract
- In this work, the results of the development of a method for producing a coating composite material, which consists in grinding and drying of waste, dissolving the waste of non-plasticized polyvinyl chloride in methylene chloride, mixing the resulting solution with cullet acting as a filler, to obtain a raw mixture. Then, from the resulting mixture, samples are formed by single-stage pressing with subsequent heat treatment at the boiling point of methylene chloride. This method allows for cold mixing and cold pressing, as well as to reduce the processing temperature, which makes it possible to eliminate the thermal degradation of the polymer binder, which is especially important given the low thermal stability of polyvinyl chloride. The paper presents the results of a study of the compressive strength and water absorption of the resulting material, depending on the ratio of components and pressing pressure.
