- Abstract
- The main objectives of this work is to study the possibility of using the sorbent "Bentonite" in the composition of bulk soil (of a certain composition) to prevent the penetration of petroleum products into the soil. The studies were carried out in laboratory conditions by determining the mass fraction of the layers of bulk soil. For research, an experimental setup was developed consisting of four separate columns mounted vertically on top of each other. The mass fraction of oil products in the test sample was determined over a specified time interval using the fluotimetric method after sampling from each column. The results will allow us to develop recommendations regarding measures to prevent the penetration of diesel fuel into deeper soil horizons.
