- Abstract
- Reduction of stocks of traditional natural raw materials forces to look for new ways of its replacement with waste. The experience of advanced foreign countries has shown the technical feasibility of this direction and application as a tool to protect the natural environment from pollution. In the present work it is shown that it is most expedient to use multi-tonnage waste of the fuel and energy complex in the production of lightweight bricks. Waste from anthracite flotation enrichment was used as a thinning agent and burnout additive. Waste flotation enrichment of anthracites have increased: the content of PP (loss during calcination=38.4 %), calorific value of 2800 kcal / kg and carbon content (C=13.84 %), so they were used for the production of lightweight bricks not only as a thinner, but also as burnout additives. The resulting lightweight bricks, depending on the content of waste flotation enrichment of anthracites in their compositions, belong to different groups, for example, by thermal characteristics to the groups: with high efficiency, increased efficiency and even to the group conditionally effective. The use of multi-tonnage waste of anthracite flotation enrichment in the production of lightweight bricks contributes to the utilization of industrial waste, reducing environmental tensions in the regions and expanding the raw material base for the ceramic industry.
