- Abstract
- Literary data on the state and development of the environmental rating system in Russia are presented. The existing methods of environmental ratings proposed by different organizations and the results of the ratings are summarized. It is noted that the developed methods are imperfect, do not take into account the specifics of the coal industry, so their use to determine environmental ratings of coal companies and enterprises will not allow to get objective results. Proposed method of conducting environmental ratings of coal companies and enterprises, based on the use as criteria of ecology of the average annual data of negative impact on the environment and the average annual indicators of environmental performance. The algorithm for conducting environmental ratings of coal companies is presented.
