- Today, one of the most promising and dynamically developing areas of "digital" production is additive technologies. The article deals with the development of new technologies in mechanical engineering, their impact on production and equipment used. The methods of additive manufacturing are considered, the advantages and disadvantages of modern additive technologies are analyzed, as well as their application in various fields of industry, 3D printing methods, trends and prospects for development.
