- Abstract
- The problem of estimating the characteristics of complex systems based on the test results of a limited number of prototypes is considered. It is shown that to make informed decisions about the characteristics of the system it is advisable to use the method of priority of experimental information. One of the main advantages of this method is to take into account the proximity of a priori data to the experimental ones, which virtually eliminates the need to check all available information for homogeneity. It can also serve as a basis for reducing the number of full-scale tests in their planning. An example illustrating the main advantages of the method is given.
