- Abstract
- The radionuclides activity concentration in soils and plants in the area of the natural and technogenic territory of Novocherkasskaya TPP was estimated based on the results of expeditions 2012-2016. Equivalent dose of gamma radiation not exceed 0.3 μSv / h. The mean activity concentration of 137Cs, 226Ra, 232Th and 40K in soils are 20, 25, 250 and 350 Bq/kg, respectively. It has been shown that 226Ra is present in plants in significant quantities, probably directly entering the environment when burning fossil fuels.
