- Abstract
- An algorithm for applying sequential mathematical transformations using the discrete linear response function has been developed. The procedure for constructing spectral functions has a certain order and is aimed at obtaining adequate results of approximating the experimental sample in the frequency domain. It is shown that the use of the function of the low-frequency FIR filter as part of the convolution, together with the fast Fourier transform, gives positive results in the localization of a seed crack in steel EI847. The theoretical aspect of low-pass filters with a finite impulse response is considered and surface spectrograms are constructed for each considered stage of approximation.
