- Abstract
- The relevance of the problem under study is due to the need to address the issue of disposal of waste generated during the chemical-thermal treatment of metals - carbonitration. Qualitative and quantitative studies have been carried out showing the metal content in the waste during the cleaning of carbonitration baths of metal surfaces. We used the methods of X-ray fluorescence analysis - to obtain the elemental composition of the waste and atomic absorption - to determine the mass fractions of metals in the waste when cleaning the carbonitration baths of metal surfaces. The results of qualitative and quantitative studies of the elemental composition on the content of metals in the samples showed the presence of metals in the waste and their mass values. Conclusions are made about the further feasibility of determining the component composition of this waste.
