- Abstract
- The article describes the processes of transformation of the human environment and determines their impact on human health. Based on official statistical data, a comprehensive analysis of the health status of the working-age population of Russia was conducted. Shortcomings of the existing system of collecting and processing statistical data in Russia are revealed. It is established that the integral indicator "human vulnerability due to environmental changes" is used as a new criterion for making managerial decisions on issues of public health and well-being in the international environment. It is determined that the most effective methods of reducing human vulnerability due to environmental changes are risk management and precautionary measures.
