- Abstract
- It is shown how the principles of a circular economy can be implemented through the creation of eco-industrial parks. The results of the study prove that the closure of material flows in an eco-industrial park can provide a synergistic effect to reduce the negative environmental load due to the elimination of areal sources of air pollution with dust, benzo(a)pyrene and other carcinogenic polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, partially replacing the volumes of extraction and primary processing of natural resources secondary; an increase in the amount of manufactured products due to processing will contribute to the development of the regional economy.
