- Abstract
- In this article, the classification of algorithms for generating control pulses is given based on the comparison of synchronization signals with modulation signals in pulse-width modulators. The types of synchronizing and modulating signals are described in detail. A generalized block diagram of a pulse-width converter is presented, as well as a functional diagram of a pulse-width modulator. The problem of the necessity of studying the influence of pulse-width modulation algorithms on the quality of the output voltage and the control of the transfer characteristic of the pulse-width converter is formulated.
