- Abstract
- This article presents the results of the development of the composition of the raw material mixture for the production of a building composite material, in which the dispersed filler is a cullet, and the binder is a secondary polystyrene. Secondary polystyrene is proposed to be obtained by dissolving polystyrene foam products in methylene chloride, followed by mixing the solution with the filler, pressing and heat treatment to remove the solvent. The paper presents the dependences of the main properties of the material on the ratio of the components in the composition of the raw material mixture with the choice of composition for obtaining a material that meets the requirements for facing products for buildings and structures.
