- Abstract
- This article discusses the option of using urea and a reducing catalyst to reduce harmful emissions in the exhaust gases of a gas-diesel engine, this system is not standard and in laboratory tests the required parameters were achieved, as well as settings for the control system for the supply of gas, recirculated gas and urea in a distributed cyclic sequence. Thanks to the data obtained in bench conditions, results were achieved in reducing the concentration of harmful substances in the exhaust gases. Depending on the type of substance, the reduction reaches up to 95 %, which corresponds to the environmental class Euro-5.
