- Abstract
- A comprehensive experimental assessment of the danger of the content of a persistent organic pollutant - hexachlorobenzene in the water of reservoirs was carried out. It was found that the toxicant caused changes in the organoleptic and general sanitary properties of water. In the conditions of acute experience, the substance with intragastric intake had a toxic effect on the body of laboratory animals. The data obtained should be taken into account when handling the considered compound in this ecosystem.
