- Abstract
- The article considers the problem of the negative impact of static dust (sand) and other solid contaminants on fuels and lubricants (POL) in terms of adhesion in a system of two contacting phases, where the adhesive is POL and the substrate is solid pollution. A new property of fuels and lubricants has been introduced - their anti-adhesion to solid contaminants - which determines the ability of the outer surface layers of fuels and lubricants facing the environment, deposited in accordance with its purpose on the surface of a structural material, to counteract the occurrence of mechanical strength in contact with the surface of particles of solid contaminants. The developed "Typical method for determining the anti-adhesive properties of fuels and lubricants to solid contaminants" is presented, in which, unlike existing methods, a new algorithm is used to quantify the ability of fuels and lubricants to resist sticking (adhesion) of solid contaminants, which makes it possible to determine a new, previously not considered parameter fuel.
