- Abstract
- The article is devoted to the analysis of existing methods and methods for predicting the migration of pollutants in the natural environment and modeling this process. Based on the results of the analysis, the authors identified, reviewed and systematized the main approaches to predicting the migration paths of pollutants in the horizontal (within one component of the environment) and vertical (transfer from one component to another) planes, noted their advantages and disadvantages, and made conclusions, on the possibility of using these approaches in the system of integrated environmental monitoring of chemically hazardous objects, as well as recommendations for their application.
