- Abstract
- The regularities of accumulation and distribution of heavy metals in the soils of agricultural lands and virgin areas of the impact zone of enterprises of the Lipetsk industrial agglomeration have been studied. It was found that the largest amount of heavy metals is concentrated in virgin soils of the near zone (2-5 km) in layers 0-2 and 2-5 cm, the content of which is up to 10 times higher than in the parent rock. The content of heavy metals in arable soils in all cases does not exceed the MPC. At the same time, no definite pattern of spatial distribution of heavy metals in the soils of the middle (7-15 km) and distant (15-30 km) zones has been revealed.
