- Abstract
- The article discusses some methods for removing organochlorine compounds in drinking water, due to the fact that new hygiene standards are currently being introduced that tighten the requirements for maximum allowable concentrates of substances and compounds, in particular, the MPC of chloroform in drinking water has decreased by 3.3 times. The results of an experiment using reagent water purification with mixed coagulants are presented. During the tests, it was found that the use of a mixed coagulant Basis M (based on ferric chloride and aluminum sulfate) reduces the content of organochlorine compounds in drinking water.
