- Abstract
- The article discusses the concept of inaccessibility of settlements (urban, rural settlements) for introducing special regulation of waste management. Due to the peculiarities of the geographical location, hard-to-reach settlements are characteristic of the territory of our country. Difficulties in waste management for such settlements are determined by the lack of year-round transport links, small population, distance from waste management facilities. Based on the results of the analysis of the legislation of the subjects of the Russian Federation, criteria for classifying settlements as difficult to access for the organization of waste management are proposed.
