- Abstract
- This article discusses the use of geoinformation technologies in the system of consumer waste management in order to determine the areas of landfills, identify authorized and unauthorized landfills, industrial sites of enterprises and other places of solid waste disposal. The properties of space images of the object are investigated. An algorithm for detecting unauthorized landfills based on the analysis of earth remote sensing data is considered. In-house decryption has been studied based on direct and indirect decryption features (shape, size, location, purpose of the object, and so on). The analysis of the processing of satellite images of the polygon using software tools is carried out.
