- Abstract
- The article shows the prospect of conducting research to analyze mountain relief and terraces delineation on the basis of aerial photography using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The main factors and processes of Makazhoi Basin relief formation are considered. It is shown that digital elevation model (DEM) is the basis for computerized relief mapping. The article contains new experimental (laboratory and field) data collected in the territory of the Carboniferous polygon of the Chechen State University named after A. A. Kadyrov in September 2023 during expeditionary work, supplemented by the results of aerial photography of the territory using a UAV (Geoscan).
