- Abstract
- Energy indicators of global climate change caused by emissions of anthropogenic greenhouse gases are given. Functions of dependence of the radiation enhancement potential, as well as the maximum temperature of global warming on concentration of anthropogenic greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, are given. The emission into the atmosphere of 1 ppm-eq of greenhouse gases increases the flow of thermal energy to the Earth's surface by approximately 0.1 W/m2, which is equivalent to reducing the distance from the Earth to the Sun by 13 thous. km. Empirical functions of dependence of the intensity of thermal energy absorption (net absorption) on concentration of anthropogenic greenhouse gases in the atmosphere are given. Schemes of energy flows in the Earth's climate system in the presence of anthropogenic greenhouse gases are also given.
