- Abstract
- This article discusses the concept of using gas engine fuel - liquefied petroleum gas as the main fuel, as well as rapeseed oil as a pilot dose in a diesel engine. This concept is a kind of combination of two fuel systems developed and tested at the Federal State Budgetary Institution FNATS VIM. The main advantage of this system is increased environmental parameters, such as reduced emissions of carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons, and nitrogen oxides. This development can be used on any automotive and tractor equipment in various industries - agriculture, public utilities, construction and road equipment, etc. An environmental and economic calculation of the efficiency of using this system was also carried out.
