- Abstract
- It reports on development and manufacture of intelligent laser module based on a pulsed semiconductor laser diode for control of high voltage light triggering thyristors (LTT) with operation current up to 2500 A and switch voltage up to 8000 V. Laser module converts the electrical pulses of LTT control in light pulses and transmits them to high potential through a multimode optical fiber. Operating temperature of the module is -60÷+70 оC. The module has an intelligent built-in monitoring. LD emission wavelength is optimized for reliable operation of LTT. The main applications of the module are the latest energy and electrical systems: high-voltage actuator control, static reactive power compensators, the automatic overvoltage bypass devices in the power systems of klystron, magnetrons, ignitrons, high-voltage direct current lines, flexible system of power transmission, equipment of magnetic pulse component formation, cable analysis systems, laser medical and optical instruments, scientific research.
