- Abstract
- A systemic approach to the restoration of oil-contaminated areas in the Republic of Bashkortostan is presented, based on the calculation of the probability of accidental oil spills, taking into account the frequency and extent of incidents. A spatial analysis of environmental risk was carried out, and geoecological differentiation of municipal districts was performed. A matrix of management decisions is proposed, reflecting priorities and measures for the remediation of soils and water bodies. The approach can be applied to justify land reclamation programs and support regional environmental management.
