- Abstract
- The analysis of conditions of problems of manufacture and consumption of rare metals as "industry vitamins" and indicators of national safety of the country abroad and in Russia is carried out. The system of measures for restoration and development of domestic productions of these strategically important metals with use of the Russian mineral raw material base is recommended. Efficiency and stability of directions of development should be provided by organizational-technical upgrading operating deposits of rare metals, the mining manufactures next to them and undeveloped deposits with formation integrated clustered structures mainly in Kola, Uralsk and Norilsk regions, and also at the expense of development new actually high complex deposits of rare metals in North and Siberia regions. The accelerated maintenance of requirements of the country in rare metals can be provided by involving in industrial use of anthropogenic resources with application of innovative concentration stage technics. Rare metals should be considered and used as a unique innovative resource of Russia as in an defense-industrial sector, and in civil industrial production.
