- Abstract
- The article discusses the design of an accessible Braille display with a wireless data transfer function. It analyzes various methods of transferring text information from a computer and mobile phone to a device, including USB, SD cards, Wi-Fi, and classic Bluetooth. The focus is on the Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) protocol, which is chosen as the primary solution. The choice of BLE is justified both from an engineering and from the perspective of accessibility for visually impaired users. The article discusses the software implementation of text processing in ESP32, memory limitations, as well as the possibility of transmitting notes back and forth.
