- Abstract
- The article examines the problem of strategic choice in conditions of uncertainty, namely, the rationale for the decision to duplicate production facilities. To solve it, an approach based on the theory of fuzzy sets is proposed, which makes it possible to formalize some risks. Based on the Mamdani fuzzy inference model, which takes into account the remoteness of the enterprise from threats, the number of production facilities provided, the volume of output and its criticality, a quantitative assessment of the expediency of redundancy is obtained. This method provides management with an objective and transparent tool for strategic planning.
